Sulzfeld’s mayor, gerhard schenkel, spoke at the youngest castle meeting about the history of construction and the progress made in the design of the mainland, especially the village square.
The project was discussed and presented again and again in working groups and in the municipal council. The proposals had met with broad approval. It is therefore incomprehensible why criticism is now being voiced in some quarters.
A final use of the village square has not yet been decided anyway. The council is free to decide how the site will be used in the future, schenkel noted.
For clubs and music school
Another topic in schenkel’s presentation to numerous people from sulzfelde was the teachers’ house, which will be available to the clubs and the music school after renovation. The event room planned there could be used by all burghers.
Schenkel informed about the reconstruction of the fire station, renovation work in the school building, the municipal demand program, the planned mobile home park and the also planned landing stage for boats. The citizens of kitzingen should not be asked to contribute to the costs of the upcoming renovation of the clearing plant.
The mayor also provided information about the construction of the planned solar plant on the A7 and the failed attempt to build a wind farm.
