One day after the signing of tidjan keita, bbc coburg has once again made additions at the rough positions. Noah kamdem, a native of nurnberg, joins the coburg trial basketball team and is expected to help compensate for the absence of johannes krug. At his premiere in frankfurt, the 1.97 meter big camedem already made a decent impression with five points and three rebounds in 19 minutes.

Reunion with schabacker
At BBC coburg, the man from central franconia meets an old acquaintance – coach ulf schabacker. Kamdem played for TSV breitengubbach under the current head coach from coburg, but this was only one stage in the career of the BBC newcomer.
Via TV furth and nurnberger BC, the 1.97-meter model athlete joined the bamberger junior program in 2011, where he also attracted attention beyond the region: in 2014, he was called up to the U16 national team and played in latvia alongside players such as isaiah hartenstein (houston rockets), isaac bonga (washington wizards) and louis olinde (brose bamberg) at the european championship.
After two years with his hometown club in nurnberg, he moved to the talent factory in ehingen in 2016, where he saw minutes in the second division team on the one hand, and on the other hand played a major role in the U19 team as a high achiever. The following year, he succeeded in advancing to the proa with the rostock seawolves. The then 19-year-old contributed 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds to the ascent. Once again, he was able to attract the attention of the DBB: this time he was called up to the squad of the german 3×3 national team.
Last season, kamdem played for the PSK lions karlsruhe in the proa, where he turned into a strong player off the bench, especially in the second half of the season, scoring 5.2 points and grabbing 4.0 rebounds per game. BBC officials hope that kamdem will now also make a splash in the coburg jersey.
